I lost Bailey in 2006 on May 6th, one day after he turned 11 years old. He found me outside a Walmart in 1995, he was 5 months old and positive. I took him to 3 different vets, all three told me to have him euthanized, that he would infect my other cats and be dead in 3 months ... 3 vets were wrong!! Bailey lived to be 11 years old, never sick until the last 6 months. He ate, played, groomed, and on occasion fought with his 7 house mates, none of them ever got FeLV from him. He was a joy in our lives and a learning experience for me, without him I would never be who I am today ... thank you Bailey, I think about you often and love you always.
