Special Resources

Our Mission

Simple, to post the most current information about FeLV, FIV and FIP. There is so much out dated and inaccurate information out there about these feline diseases and too many cats are paying with their lives.

We would also eventually like to raise money to help those pet owners who have FeLV + kitties offset some of the cost to care for them in the event they become ill. This disease is not longer considered to be an automatic death sentence. Many of these cats live many years with no symptoms, once they do start showing symptoms it can get expensive very quickly with all the testing and treatment.

Dedication

This site is dedicated to my Bailey who is the reason I have such a passion about making sure people are getting the most accurate and correct information about these diseases. Bailey was FeLV+ when I found him at 5 months of age, I was told by 3 vets to euthanise him, to quote all three "he will be dead in 3 months". Bailey lived a very healthy and full life for 11 years. He passed May 6th, 2006 from pancreatic cancer which my vet doesn't even think was FeLV related, he was just unfortunate enough to get cancer ...
